About Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation

In 2015, Ramsay Health Care established and registered Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation (RHRF), a registered not for profit organisation. Operations of RHRF commenced in 2017, upon receipt of a core grant from the Paul Ramsay Foundation. This grant has led to the establishment of key research projects and a robust set of research programs over the past four years with a focus on mental health, health services and rehabilitation research. The core value proposition of RHRF is to fund research that will lead to actionable improvement of patient outcomes, preferencing Australian-based Ramsay hospitals/pharmacies. As RHRF evolves the foundation continues to develop key priorities in research. Currently, the key priority are cancer, mental health, cardiology and orthopaedics with a particular focus on the establishment of research that addresses key social determinants of health.
