**About the opportunity**
**Your key responsibilities will include**:
- Liaise with researchers and clinical trial coordinators and other internal stakeholders regarding submissions.
- Provide support to the Ramsay Health Care HRECs, including coordinating research meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and follow-up with Researchers and Clinical Trial Coordinators to ensure that all stakeholders are aware of and comply with reporting obligations related to the research projects.
- Contribute to the development of the National Research Unit through continuous improvement and adoption of new initiatives.
- Maintenance and continuous improvement of the Research Ethics, Governance & Grants Database.
- Provide other general administrative support to the work area as required, including coordinating research meetings, preparing agendas and minutes, and follow-up with Researchers and Clinical Trial Coordinators.
**About you**
As a Research Ethics and Governance Coordinator, you have:
- Experience in a research-intensive environment, with prior exposure to clinical trials or other clinical research activities and knowledge of research ethics and governance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and prioritise workload during busy periods.
- Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with sound negotiating and conflict resolution skills, and a demonstrated level of tact and discretion in dealing with day-to-day operations.
- Knowledge of relevant codes and legislation related to human research ethics and research governance within Australia.
- Familiarity with using electronic research information management systems.

**About Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation**
In 2015, Ramsay Health Care established the Ramsay Hospital Research Foundation (RHRF), and registered it as a not for profit organisation. Operations of RHRF commenced in 2017, upon receipt of a core grant from the Paul Ramsay Foundation. This grant has led to the establishment of key research projects and a robust set of research programs over the past seven years with a focus on mental health, cancer, cardiology, musculoskeletal and rehabilitation research.
