We're seeking a Customer Information Consultant to join our team at North East Water This role is a
full-time opportunity until June 2026.
About the role
The
Customer Information Consultant
plays a pivotal role in resolving customer enquiries promptly and professionally while promoting outstanding customer service to all customers and stakeholders.
This role is a
full-time opportunity until June 2026,
including a monthly RDO and flexible work options. Hours of work are
Monday to Friday, 8:15am and 5pm with a 45-minute break.
A snapshot of your day
Responding to customer enquiries over the phone, email and face-to-face.
Providing administrative and support services including but not limited to:
- Change of ownership
- Tenancy
- Billing
- Banking
- Information statements
Receiving, recording and monitoring high-risk activities undertaken by operational staff.
Ensuring timely entry of statistics and notes.
Collaborating with the team, supporting tasks and workloads.
Assisting with reception functions and housekeeping as required.

Key Selection Criteria

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to uphold confidentiality.
- Demonstrated organisation and time management skills.
- Experience working in a customer service-oriented organisation.
- Experience with the Microsoft suite of programs and a customer relationship management system and/or billing software.

Position Information
- An attractive salary range of $65,028 to $75,160 plus 12% superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
- This is a
full time, ongoing
position. - Successful applicants will be required to undertake pre-employment checks including a police check and/or pre-employment medical and functional testing where applicable.
