Essence of the position:

We have begun the search for our Bar Manager. In this role you will oversee our 2 bars with the support of your FOH Manager in order to hit budgetary goals and deliver an exceptional guest experience Some of your key areas of responsibility will be:

  • Leading and scheduling the bar team to achieve goals and drive a positive guest experience for the bar
  • Ensuring your team are trained and coached to Kingpin standard, supporting them for future growth and development
  • Driving sales and exceeding targets while keeping the great times flowing
  • Creating one-of-a-kind experiences for our social and corporate guests
  • Setting the golden standard in service and inspiring your team to do the same, contributing to our stand-out hospitality
  • Partner with other key departments to make magic happen, every single shift

Key Attributes and Capabilities:

Putting people neatly into boxes, isn't really our style, but there are a few key factors that will be really important when it comes to selecting the right candidate for this position:

  • You have prior management experience in a bar setting, ideally with strong beer knowledge
  • You must hold a valid RSA Certificate
  • You must hold a valid WWCC (Working With Children Check) Certificate
  • You're a hands-on leader who excels in a busy environment
  • You're a people person – you're eager to make the guest experience unforgettable, leaving guests wanting to come back over and over
  • You're a strong example of premium service who leads by example
