About the Role

As a Principal Data Engineer, you will design and implement data ingestion and integration processes for a large-scale ticketing system. You will work closely with a team of data professionals to ensure data products are fit-for-purpose, aligned with architectural standards, and deliver valuable insights for stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in
    Data Engineering
    with strong understanding of
    CI/CD and DevOps
    practices.

  • Hands-on expertise with:

  • AWS Services
    : Glue, S3, Lambda, CodeCommit, CodePipeline, CloudFormation, API Gateway.

  • Apache Airflow
    ,
    DBT
    ,
    Snowflake
    .
  • Experience with
    data integration, cloud-based workflows, and large-scale data platforms
    .
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of
    public transport data domains
    (ticketing, schedules, network data, telematics) is advantageous.
