About This Position

What We Are Looking For
  • Sound media knowledge and ability to develop engaging stories
  • Capability using sound judgement in dealing with media, the community and all levels of government
  • Experience in copywriting, editing and corporate publications
  • Strong time management skills, prioritising and coordinating personal workload to meet competing deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Competency using a range of computer software, including Adobe InDesign

Essential Requirements
  • Driver's licence
  • Qualification in communications, marketing or public relations, or equivalent experience in a similar role
  • Current Police Clearance (less than three months old). Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
