We are looking for a Full or Part-Time Marketing and Communications Assistant to join us for 6 months to join our small Marketing team with a possibility of extending. This individual will assist the Marketing and Communications Advisor in executing the overarching strategy and ensuring a strong brand presence for Amaroo within the aged care sector. This is a diverse role that is well suited to recent Marketing and Communications graduates or those midway through their studies.

**The role**
- Supporting the Marketing and Communications Advisor to execute the overarching strategy.
- Copywriting for internal and external communications, including CEO updates, newsletters, and blog posts.
- Designing print and digital content.
- Managing Amaroo’s website and making edits when required.
- Assisting with the organising of events and taking of imagery.
- Managing Amaroo’s social media channels, including the creation and scheduling of engaging content, monitoring conversations, and responding to inquiries.
- Supporting the Chief Executive Officer with ad hoc administrative tasks as required. Including meeting coordination and minute taking.
- Other duties consistent with the position where required.

**The person**

You need to love people, work collaboratively with others to reach good outcomes, work autonomously and think with initiative.

Other requirements for this position:

- Experience in Marketing and Communications is desirable but not essential.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to main stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and to meet tight deadlines with competing priorities.
- A creative flair and experience using design tools such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite is extremely advantageous.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office.
- National Police Clearance - issued within last 6 months.
