**About this position**

The City is seeking a motivated and experienced Administration Officer to join the Community Development & Safety Team and support efforts to prevent and reduce crime within the community.

This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative and interpersonal skills who is looking for a diverse and rewarding role in a dynamic local government environment. With a focus on accuracy and attention to detail, this role provides high-level administrative support to the Community Development and Safety team, for the implementation of a range of programs and services aligned with the Branch Service Plan, including tasks such as:

- Community Funding Program
- Responding to CCTV requests and providing footage to WA Police Force
- Preparation of Seniors Services quarterly brochure programs
- Assisting with Global Village activities at the Fusion Festival
- Monitoring and responding to correspondence and phone calls
- Assisting with internal and external meetings.

**What we are looking for**

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:

- Substantial experience in an administrative role
- Substantial experience and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite
- Good understanding of electronic records systems and website management
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Proven ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships within the community.

**Essential requirements**
- Driver's licence.
