What's the opportunity?
This role provides specialist workforce forecasting expertise and advice to guide both short and long term forecasting for the service. This is an important role that supports the delivery of a high quality and safe service, through accurate forecasting to meet contractual performance targets.
About the role:
- This role is responsible for delivering all aspects of workforce forecasting and analysis to support Telstra Health deliver and exceed contractual performance targets: Key activities include:
- Update and deliver monthly Workforce Forecasts and supporting documents with high level of accuracy.
- Maintain short to long term forecast models to inform workforce plans, finance, recruitment and day-to-day rostering.
- Partner with the communications and marketing teams to understand planned promotional activities and how these will impact contact demand.
- Maintain and analyse reports around key operational metrics such as attrition and shrinkages.
- Provide comprehensive reporting and analysis to inform management decision-making related to workforce planning.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry workforce planning and contact centre developments, including worldwide best practices and new process/system advancements.
About you:
Required:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a workforce planning role, forecasting short, medium, and long term.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Intermediate proficiency in Power BI and MS PowerPoint.
- Experience in using workforce management systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Tertiary qualifications – Finance or business discipline preferred.
Desirable:
- Prior experience in the health industry.
- Experience with Verint and Genesys Cloud systems.
