As a
Data Solution Developer
, you'll be part of the Engineering Data Publications and Projects (EDP) team, responsible for managing the systems and processes that handle critical aircraft documentation. This includes regulatory directives, OEM manuals, and Qantas-specific technical publications that ensure the safety, compliance, and operational readiness of our fleet.
You'll also play a key role in developing data solutions that automate and improve how technical data is received, validated, published, and accessed across the business - supporting both engineering teams and broader operational functions. You will also be responsible for maintaining existing automation pipelines and trouble-shooting processes, with the ability to further develop automated data solutions.
You'll Have
- 1 - 3 years of experience in data solutions development
- Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field (preferred)
- Experience with coding languages such as Python and Relational Database Management Systems (SQL)
- Familiarity with API technology and digital document publishing tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively
- High computer literacy, including MS Office, Power Apps, and SharePoint
- Experience in airline operations (highly desirable)
- Knowledge of aviation documentation standards and regulatory compliance (desirable)
