Are you a motivated hospitality professional with a passion for leading teams and delivering exceptional guest experiences? Quest Liverpool is seeking an experienced Front Office Duty Manager to oversee our busy reception area and support the Franchise Manager in the smooth running of our property.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Franchise Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the Front Office Reception, providing hands-on support and leadership to our team of 5 GSA's. This role includes overseeing check-in and check-out processes, managing reservations to maximise occupancy, and ensuring all guests receive the warm welcome and professional service that Quest is known for.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, training and developing Front Office Reception staff
- Delivering outstanding customer service in line with the Quest Way
- Managing rosters, night audits, and reservation systems
- Assisting with promotional activities and business development opportunities
- Maintaining strong relationships with internal staff, suppliers, contractors and guests
- Relief management of the property in the Franchise Manager's absence
About You
You're an energetic, hands-on leader with a polished phone manner and a solution-focused approach. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy coaching others to achieve their best.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a reception or customer service role (accommodation or hospitality preferred)
- Experience in a supervisory or team leader capacity (preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and knowledge of phone and property management systems
- High standards of personal presentation and enthusiasm for the hospitality/tourism industry
