About the role
The Front Office Manager role is pivotal to the daily operation of the hotel and provides the perfect platform for career growth and development, gaining exposure across all areas of the hotel. This is a role where you can really make a name for yourself
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the Front Office department to deliver a unique guest experience.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel
- Customer service duties including check ins, check outs and managing any guest enquires.
- Drive employee engagement within Front Office operation
- Prepare rosters to achieve budgeted payroll productivity.
- Maintain an awareness of hotel activities within property including, events, conferences, occupancy levels, profitability and key metrics of Guest Voice.
- Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all guests during your shift
- Manage staffing requirements, establish performance and development goals for team members and provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback.
- Ensure policies, procedures, rates, and general hotel information are communicated to the team.
- Responding to guest feedback and communicating feedback onto relevant department managers.
- Implement training programs for all front office employees, conduct new employee inductions/on boarding and skills training.

- Maintain a professional appearance and operational focus in the department
- Be able to lead initiatives and drive continuous improvement in the guest experience
- Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of hotel systems and revenue management principles
- Ability to work well under pressure and be able to multitask.
- Great communication skills (written and verbal), passion for delivering results and developing people and self
- Ability to manage complex relationships along with demonstrated ability to interact with guests, staff, and third parties that reflects highly on the company.
**Salary**: From $65,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
