About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Dental Assistant and Front Desk Coordinator to join our specialist prosthodontics clinic in Coorparoo, QLD. As a full-time role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth running of our clinic by supporting Dr Sid Kothari with clinical duties as well as managing front desk operations.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting dentists during patient procedures by passing instruments, mixing materials, and ensuring the operatory is kept clean and organised
- Greeting and welcoming patients, booking appointments, and handling front desk inquiries
- Maintaining patient records, processing payments, and handling insurance claims
- Sterilising and restocking equipment and supplies
- Providing excellent customer service to our patients and ensuring a positive experience
- Performing other administrative tasks as required to support the efficient operation of the clinic
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant, preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and work collaboratively with the dental team
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail to multitask effectively
- Proficiency in using dental software and computer systems
- A friendly, positive, and helpful attitude
