About the role

Mason Lawyers is seeking an experienced Personal Assistant or Paralegal to join their Family Law team in Mayfield NSW.

This full-time position will provide valuable administrative support to the Family Law practice, assisting solicitors with client communication, file management, and other essential tasks to ensure the smooth running of the department.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Family Law solicitors, including diary management, preparing correspondence, and organising client meetings
  • Manage client files and documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and organised
  • Assist with the preparation of court documents and other legal materials
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and other client inquiries
  • Maintain and update the Family Law team's database and records
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and organisation of the Family Law practice

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Personal Assistant, Paralegal or Legal Secretary, preferably in a Family Law environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and legal professionals
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality client service
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to your work
