About the position

We're looking for a driven, dynamic, and energetic Bistro Manager who lives and breathes hospitality. You'll have a genuine passion for food, a flair for customer service, and the ability to lead a team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day operations and supervision of the bistro team
  • Overseeing floor shifts, including opening and closing procedures and end-of-day reporting
  • Providing on-the-job training to maintain high service standards
  • Coordinating with guests and kitchen teams to deliver seamless functions and events
  • Working with management on special projects to improve operations and guest experiences
  • Managing financial performance for the bistro, including budgets and KPIs
  • Developing and implementing operational policies and procedures
  • Training, and performance-managing team members
  • Promoting a positive, high-performance workplace culture

What we're looking for

  • Solid management experience in a high-volume, high-profile venue
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Confidence managing budgets, and operational procedures
  • Availability for night, and weekend shifts
  • A positive, hands-on attitude with a passion for mentoring and developing staff
  • Australian work rights (permanent resident or citizen), we will sponsor the right person
