About us:
Situated in the local neighbourhood of Bondi, Brown Sugar is a vibrant 48-seater bistro that is celebrating 25 years this year. We are a small team of industry professionals committed to delivering the most memorable dining experience.

Position Overview:
As the Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. From overseeing service standards to managing staff and ensuring guest satisfaction, you'll be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for excellence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Supervise and train restaurant staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to standards.
- Foster a positive work environment and provide leadership and guidance to team members.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and efficiency.
- Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and industry trends
- Commonsense and eye for detail
