We are growing and seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join us part-time.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on BI Specialist who can lead client engagements, architect modern data solutions, and deliver reliable, scalable insights.

This role spans consulting, data modelling, engineering, visualisation, and advisory. You will work across multiple clients and contribute to Technology Cue's strategic solution accelerators.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Consulting & Delivery

  • Lead discovery sessions and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Prepare solution architecture, data roadmaps, and technical designs
  • Serve as the technical lead for key client accounts

Data Engineering & Modelling

  • Build data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Dataflows, Databricks & SQL Server
  • Design data marts, star schemas, semantic models
  • Implement governance, lineage, and data quality best practices

Analytics & Dashboarding

  • Develop advanced Power BI dashboards with strong DAX and modelling foundations
  • Optimise performance and apply best-practice governance
  • Assist clients with BI strategies, usage monitoring, and automation

Documentation & Handover

  • Produce technical documentation and solution guides
  • Conduct training and knowledge-transfer sessions with clients

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–10+ years experience in Data Analytics, BI, or Data Engineering
  • Demonstrated expertise in:
  • Power BI (DAX, modelling, RLS, optimisation)
  • SQL Server / T-SQL
  • Azure / Microsoft Fabric / Lakehouse
  • ETL/ELT design and data pipeline development
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proven consulting experience across multiple clients
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Databricks / Delta Lake experience
  • Python for engineering or automation
  • Data Governance and metadata frameworks
  • Contribution to accelerators or reusable IP
