About the role

Clear Mountain Fairview is seeking a dedicated and experienced farm hand to join our team in Greenmount, QLD. As an experienced farm hand, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our family-owned farm, contributing to the overall success and growth of our agricultural business. This is a full-time position offering stability and opportunities for career development.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with a variety of tasks related to crop cultivation and livestock management
  • Operating and maintaining a range of farm machinery and equipment
  • Ensuring the proper care and upkeep of farm facilities, fences, and other infrastructure
  • Monitoring and reporting on the health and condition of crops and livestock
  • Collaborating with the farm management team to implement best practices and improve operational efficiency
  • Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on a commercial farm or in a similar agricultural setting
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining a variety of farm equipment and machinery
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to address challenges on the farm
  • Excellent physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and sustainable work environment
  • Adaptability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
