About the role

Join the passionate team at Noahs Ark Learning Academy as a Childcare Educator / Trainee. In this full-time role based in Botany / Eastlakes, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional early childhood education and care to our growing community.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and develop
  • Planning and implementing engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Observing and documenting children's progress to inform future learning experiences
  • Building strong relationships with children and their families
  • Collaborating with the teaching team to continually improve our practice
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

What we're looking for

  • Formal qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care (Certificate III minimum, Diploma preferred) or currently enrolled in relevant studies
  • Experience working in a similar childcare or early learning environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Creative and adaptable approach to teaching and learning
  • Genuine passion for supporting the development of young children
  • Working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and relevant regulations
  • Open to trainees currently studying Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or
  • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain)
  • Australian working rights or valid work visa
