Responsibilities
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager (Comms & Brand) this newly designed opportunity will play a key role in bringing MSF Australia and New Zealand's mission and impact to life through compelling digital storytelling. With a focus on creating engaging, high-quality content across web, email and digital campaigns, your work will inspire action and deepen supporter relationships.
Collaborating closely with the Communications, Advocacy, International HR and Fundraising teams, you will craft clear, persuasive copy that reflects MSF's voice and values while optimising content for digital platforms and audiences. Accountabilities will include using data driven insights to refine messaging, ensuring consistency across channels, and contributing to the development of innovative digital strategies. Your work will support the Digital team in reaching digital fundraising goals, recruiting qualified staff for international projects, and engaging supporters through indepth user journeys and advocacy opportunities.
Ultimately your work will connect supporters to MSF's work, increase engagement and drive meaningful participation in campaigns that advance temoignage, advocacy, recruitment and fundraising goals.
Requirements
To be successful in this expressive position, you will be known for your ability to translate complexity into clear, compelling written content that resonates with diverse audiences. Ideally you will be motivated by working in a humanitarian aid organisation and can demonstrate the following:
- Qualifications or professional experience in journalism, communications, marketing or similar
- Understanding of digital communications principles including content strategy, user experience and accessibility standards
- Experience producing rich digital content for web, email or campaigns – preferably in fundraising or a not for profit role
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
- Demonstrated project management and organisational abilities.
- Superior time management skills and ability to deliver to deadlines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret performance data and translate into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
