Our seasonal menu, with subtle pan-Asian influences on modern Australian cuisine, is designed to sample and share — thoughtfully paired with Bimbadgen's estate-grown wines. From long lunches to intimate dinners, Esca is one of the Hunter Valley's most memorable dining experiences.

We are now seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support our Restaurant Manager and lead the front-of-house team. With regular service across 4 lunch shifts and just 3 dinner shifts each week, ESCA offers a premium dining career with lifestyle-friendly hours.

As Assistant Restaurant Manager, you'll bring warmth, professionalism and leadership to the floor. You'll ensure seamless service, support and coach the team, and help create the relaxed yet refined experience our guests know and love.

Key Responsibilities

Lead by example during service, ensuring guests enjoy consistently high standards

Support the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and procedures

Deliver pre-service briefings and on-the-job coaching for team members

Oversee reservations to balance guest experience and revenue opportunities

Maintain the restaurant's elegant presentation, atmosphere and flow

About You

Previous experience in a supervisory role within premium dining or hospitality

Knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards and wine service

Passion for food, wine and delivering memorable guest experiences

Hands-on, approachable and proactive leadership style

RSA certification (essential)

Availability across evenings, weekends and public holidays
