We are a family focused service and enjoy working with children, adolescents and their families within our interdisciplinary team. We are passionate about early intervention and changing the trajectory of children's lives and those of their families through empowering them with practical strategies to facilitate strong family bonds and positive mental health and wellbeing. We have a strong focus on working from attachment, development, neurodiversity affirming and systemic frameworks.

We integrate relational approaches—such as schema therapy, attachment-based interventions, and psychodynamic principles—with skills-based approaches, including CBT, ACT, and DBT. This allows us to support clients in understanding and transforming underlying patterns while equipping them with practical tools to navigate challenges. We are offering FTE employed positions suitable for

• Psychologists looking to complete the clinical registrar program (full time only)
• Psychologists within their first 5 years of full registration

These positions will have a strong focus on working within our multidisciplinary team, providing our highly innovative and state of the art service delivery model for feeding disorders.

All training in working with feeding concerns will be provided during the role. Clients of our feeding service are aged from birth through to adults so you will develop skills working across the lifespan; and you will also maintain a small caseload of clients with other presenting concerns (child and family presentations) to ensure you gain skills working with varied presentations.

We are looking for early career psychologists with an interest in child and family work and/or working with neurodivergent clients who would like to be mentored in working with feeding differences and feeding disorders. You will have the opportunity to develop deep clinical knowledge in this area of clinical practice within an internationally recognised multidisciplinary team, whilst continuing to explore broader clinical interests. Please note that we are unable to take on provisional psychologists for this role.

Due to the structure of our multidisciplinary team availability on a Friday is essential for the role. Hybrid work is a possibility; however, ability to attend our Bella Vista office for a minimum of 2 days a week is essential (3 days for a full time role).

The Talbot Centre is a multi-award-winning, premier healthcare service in Northwest Sydney. Our director is also a past recipient of the Excellence in Allied Health Leadership & Management Award As we can no longer consistently meet the demand for our services and aim to keep wait times as short as possible for our patients, we are looking to add an additional psychologist to our team.

Our team includes psychologists of varying backgrounds and experience levels, dietitians, speech pathologists, and a paediatrician (with further expansion of services planned within the next 12 months).
