We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Data Integrity Officer to join Bellarine Community Health. This role is offered part time – 0.6 FTE, 22.8 hours per week – over 3 or 4 days (to accommodate school hours) and is based in Point Lonsdale.

Bellarine Community Health (BCH) offers a broad range of primary health and wellbeing services across the Bellarine

BCH is the major provider of primary health services to the Bellarine Peninsula. We operate from six health centres in Drysdale (two sites), Ocean Grove (two sites), Point Lonsdale and Portarlington.

About the role

The Data Integrity Officer is responsible for maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of client data across BCH's systems. This role provides system administration, training, reporting, and process improvement support to ensure data is reliable, accessible, and effectively utilised to enhance service delivery, organisational performance, and decision-making.

Some of the duties the Data Integrity Officer is responsible for include:

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of Minimum Data Set (MDS) requirements
  • Maintain data accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all reporting
  • Act as system administrator for AlayaCare (primary) and Mastercare (supporting)
  • Provide operational support to the Information Manager
  • Deliver training for staff on AlayaCare and Mastercare systems
  • Develop and maintain Quick Reference Guides (QRGs) and work instructions to support best practice
  • Coordinate and conduct testing of new Client Management System (CMS) upgrades
  • Prepare internal reporting and undertake data analysis as required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of data and business processes

We would like to hear from you, if you have…

  • Formal qualifications in Health Information Management, Data Managements, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Minimum Data Set (MDS) reporting requirements and associated compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in data integrity, compliance reporting, or system administration.
  • Proven commitment to quality improvement and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with change management practices and coordinating software/system upgrades.
  • Proficiency in information technology, including Microsoft Office and Client Management Systems (e.g., AlayaCare, Mastercare or similar)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build positive relationships and work in a team environment.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads and tasks.
