We are looking for a passionate and experienced HSE Advisor to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental practices across our operations.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly successful and growing construction company with an exciting and diverse portfolio of projects. We are seeking experienced and dedicated HSE Advisors to join our team to ensure safety and compliance across various commercial and residential construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Health, Safety & Environmental Management: Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
  • Risk Assessments: Conduct regular risk assessments and hazard identification, ensuring corrective actions are promptly taken.
  • Training & Development: Provide HSE training and support to employees and contractors, fostering a culture of safety and awareness across the organization.
  • Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into any workplace incidents, accidents, or near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with HSE regulations and ensure the company remains fully compliant.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed reports, records, and safety documentation, ensuring accurate and timely submissions to relevant authorities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Cert IV WHS - Minimum
  • Experience working with a residential builder.
  • Management system software e.g. Hammertech (preferrable)
  • Experience with ISO and OFSC accreditation (preferable)
  • Proven experience as an HSE Advisor or similar role within the commercial and residential construction space.
  • In-depth knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A strong commitment to fostering a safety-first culture within the workplace.
