An opportunity, Built for you
This role will be critical to ensuring construction work complies with relevant codes, standards and regulations. You'll be responsible for site inspections and visits at various stages of construction ensuring safety and compliance. This role is vital to upholding public safety, supporting quality construction practices and maintaining standards across the built environment.
Here's what a typical day might look like for you:
- Supporting project teams to ensure they have effectively implemented their plan, and that monitoring is in place that meets their obligations.
- Prioritise urgent or time-sensitive inspections
- Ensure compliance with codes and regulations and document any non-compliance or safety concerns
- Take photographs and complete digital inspection reports
- Contributing to training and the Built Worthy Site Behaviours programme.
- Working (at a site level) to influence behaviours and attitudes. Including driving positive change in processes, systems, and culture.
- Monitoring milestones, KPIs and goals for the project.
- Consulting and communicating with project groups.

- Proven experience working as an HSE advisor in the construction industry, high rise commercial towers desirable
- They need an understanding of project processes, operational functions and regulatory requirements, including incident investigation methodology (e.g. ICAM).
- Strong Communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and ability to interpret complex documents
- Stong working knowledge of construction codes and local regulations
