About the Project

We are working with one of Australia's most respected integrated builders and developers on a landmark $300M mixed-use development in the Inner West. This is a career-defining opportunity to join the project team from an early stage and play a key role in embedding and driving best practice safety on site.

The Role

As Health & Safety Coordinator / Advisor, you will work closely with the project leadership team to ensure a safe, compliant and positive work environment across all site activities. You'll take ownership of day-to-day safety operations, with support and mentorship from senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor health and safety systems, policies and procedures on site
  • Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, inspections and risk assessments
  • Support subcontractors and site teams in meeting compliance requirements
  • Maintain safety records, documentation and reporting
  • Drive a proactive safety-first culture across the project team

About You

  • Previous experience in a WHS Coordinator or Advisor role within construction
  • Formal qualifications in Work Health & Safety (Cert IV or Diploma)
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with both site and management teams
  • A collaborative approach and genuine passion for safety
