About the role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the Workforce Planner will play a key role in creating and maintaining workforce labour reporting across our convenience businesses delivering workforce initiatives, managing compliance and reporting on performance metrics.

Your contributions

  • Process routine actions and administrative reports for relevant stakeholders including but not limited to schedule publishing, overtime, absenteeism, shift changes, clocking data and end of week results aligned to business objectives
  • Identifies issues, develops, coordinates and implements mitigation strategies to trouble shoot and re-balance resources to meet service, performance, industrial and budget objectives
  • Provide advisory support and guidance to operations team on labour standards to determine optimal investment model
  • Ensure reporting is consistent, aligned and simplified
  • Understand all operational tasks performed in our sites and apply consistent work measurement techniques

What we are looking for

  • A solid understanding of retail operations is highly regarded but not essential
  • Strong commercial acumen with an ability to source and analyse data
  • Advanced working knowledge of all Microsoft applications with the ability to provide reports and presentations as requested
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work independently
  • Able to build relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally that drives a customer centric culture
