APG Workforce is seeking Planners (Live Bird) to join a large poultry processing facility based in Adelaide – Wingfield area.

We currently have multiple vacancies available – so don't wait, apply today

  • $40.68 per hour + super
  • Full-time hours (38+ per week, Monday–Friday)
  • Overtime available (some Saturdays)
  • Day shift
  • Opportunity to go permanent after approx. 3 months

About the Role

The role of Livestock Pickup Programmer & Administrator is responsible for coordinating and controlling the supply of live birds to the processing plant, ensuring smooth operations, compliance, and safety standards are met.

You must be comfortable working around live birds and poultry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate live bird pickup schedules to ensure correct size and numbers are delivered to the plant on time
  • Liaise with growers, catching teams, freight contractors, and factory staff
  • Communicate processing intentions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and company standards
  • Manage written communication with contractors and growers
  • Contribute to achieving production targets and operational efficiency

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in production planning / logistics
  • Strong Excel and computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of HACCP, quality systems, and compliance is advantageous
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
