About the role
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the researcher and for the project plan, timelines, ethics and governance, data collection, deliverables, reporting and overall governance.
- Provide support for the coordination of project team activities (including meetings and other communications) in line with project timelines and deliverables.
- Provide support to the design, dissemination, and analysis of relevant research projects.
- Conduct field work and provide research support as required.
- Undertake data entry, maintain spreadsheets, manage correspondence, prepare presentations, collate data for reports and under direction prepare a range of written communication.
- Undertake literature searches, liaise with participating GPs/GP practices, and provide technical support to GP practices.
- Coordinate and take minutes in meetings between researchers and external partners.
- A Diploma level qualification with relevant work-related experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience /education /training.
- Demonstrated experience in health research and the ability to exercise initiative and work independently under broad direction.
- Demonstrated ability to carry out specified research tasks accurately with strong attention to detail and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated high-level oral and written communication skills, including the ability to maintain accurate records and contribute to the preparation of research reports and publications.
- Demonstrated high-level organisation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a team and autonomously when required.
- Highly developed organisational skills, with the demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Proven capacity to work both independently and as a collaborative team member.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Excellent computer skills including email, internet, MS Office suite and the ability to learn and implement new systems.
