Job Description

Join the team at Oaks Port Douglas Resort, where we create memorable holiday experiences in one of Australia's most stunning tropical destinations. We are currently seeking a friendly and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join us on a casual basis.

About the role:

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the welcoming face of the resort, ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and positive experience from check-in to check-out. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting guests with warmth and professionalism
  • Managing guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently
  • Answering enquiries in person, by phone, and via email
  • Assisting with reservations and payments
  • Providing local knowledge and recommendations to enhance guest stays
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving issues in a timely manner

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has previous front office or customer service experience (hotel/resort preferred)
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is confident using computer systems and able to learn new software
  • Presents professionally and has a positive, can-do attitude
  • Is available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
