As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a key strategic role in providing high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to the firm's diverse client base, across a range of industries. What you'll be doing

  • Manage a portfolio of complex tax engagements, including tax planning, compliance, and advisory services
  • Review and oversee the preparation of income tax returns, activity statements, and other tax-related documents
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on a wide range of tax matters, including corporate and individual taxation, international tax, and tax risk management
  • Mentor and supervise a team of tax professionals, fostering their development and ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service
  • Collaborate with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated solutions that meet clients' evolving needs
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax legislation, regulations, and industry trends to ensure the firm's tax services remain competitive and compliant

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and a recognised accounting or tax qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, or equivalent)
  • At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in a tax advisory or compliance role, preferably within a professional services firm
  • Demonstrated expertise in a broad range of tax disciplines, including corporate tax, international tax, and tax compliance
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex tax concepts into easily understandable advice for clients
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional client service and maintaining the highest standards of professional ethics
