As our company continues to grow, we have a position for a Tax accountant to join our collaborative and dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to join a West Perth based firm that offers a comprehensive range of services all under one roof. Pine Accounting & Tax Services, a boutique accounting firm, is dedicated to providing efficient and high quality services that deliver value to our clients. We offer a full suite of services, including tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs.

Skills and Attributes Required:

  • CA/CPA qualification (or nearing completion).
  • Minimum of at least 2 years' of experience in an Australian public practice firm.
  • Must have a good knowledge of Xero Accounting software.
  • Should have a sound knowledge of individual, company and trust tax returns.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Must have Australian Permanent Residency.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Compliance: Preparing all types of tax returns and Business Activity Statements (BAS).
  • Tax Planning and Advice: Addressing complex taxation issues and delivering practical, tailored solutions.
  • Client Portfolio Management: Managing your own client base and fostering strong client relationships.
  • Professional Development: Actively participate in internal and external training provided by the firm.
