What you'll be doing
- Supervising and coordinating the front-of-house team, including section waiters, food runners, and bartenders, to deliver exceptional guest experience
- Ensuring efficient and smooth restaurant operations, including managing reservations, coordinating table seating, and overseeing the workflow
- Providing hands-on training and support to front-of-house staff, developing their skills and fostering a positive work environment
- Assisting with monitoring inventory levels, placing supply orders, and maintaining stock control to support the restaurant's operations
- Resolving guest inquiries and feedback in a professional and timely manner, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Collaborating with the kitchen team to coordinate the flow of service and ensure menu items are delivered to guests promptly
- Assisting with the implementation of new policies, procedures, and initiatives to continuously improve the restaurant's operations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a restaurant supervisory or management role, preferably in a high-quality, fast-paced dining environment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Excellent customer service orientation, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional dining experiences
- Proficient in inventory management, cost control, revenue management and budget forecasting to ensure the restaurant's profitability
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a deep understanding of Italian cuisine and dining culture
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills to liaise with both customers and the kitchen team
