HSEQ Manager

Positioned for significant growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HSEQ Manager to join our leadership team

It's a Perth based role with the ability to travel to site, when required.

Key responsibilities of this important role:

Health & Safety (WHS):

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.

• Lead accident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.

• Provide training and guidance to employees on safety practices, emergency response procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Promote a strong safety culture by organising safety campaigns, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.

Environmental (E):

• Oversee environmental management systems and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

• Monitor and track environmental performance, including waste management, emissions, and resource use.

• Develop and implement sustainability initiatives, such as reducing waste, conserving energy, and promoting eco-friendly practices within the company.

• Coordinate environmental audits and inspections, preparing reports and corrective actions as needed.

Quality Management (Q):

• Develop and implement integrated management systems (IMS) to ensure products/services meet regulatory and company requirements.

• Monitor and analyse quality performance through audits, inspections, and data analysis to drive continuous improvement.

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for any non-conformance incidents.

• Facilitate training on quality assurance processes and best practices across the organisation.

Leadership & Reporting:

• Provide leadership and guidance

• Ensure timely reporting of HSEQ performance, incidents, accidents, and audits to senior management.

• Develop and deliver presentations on HSEQ performance, challenges, and strategies to improve overall safety, quality, and environmental performance.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all HSEQ activities, including compliance audits, certifications, and training.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in health, safety, environment, and quality management.

• In-depth knowledge of WHS and Quality management regulations, standards, and best practices.

• Proven experience with risk management, incident investigation, and quality assurance systems.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects

• Certification in HSEQ-related fields (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001) is a plus.
