The Power Systems Analytics Specialist is responsible for delivering clean, reliable datasets, well-documented models, and reproducible analyses that support forecasts, scenario assessments, and operational decisions. This role applies data science and statistical techniques to extract insights from complex datasets, enabling improved decision-making for power system reliability and performance. The role will involve the end-to-end development and application of various tools, data modelling, data mining, statistical techniques, algorithms, and machine learning principles to identify trends, patterns, and insights from raw data.

Deliver high-quality analytics and modelling to support power system planning and operations,
- Build, validate, and document models and dashboards for forecasting, demand management, DER integration, anomaly detection, and orchestration of controlled load
- Support computations for load flow, stability studies, and reliability metrics
Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to SCADA, EMS, and asset datasets.
Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and BI teams to develop robust analytical solutions.
Contribute to workshops to develop methodologies, design products, and plan delivery,
- Provide peer review of methodologies, code implementation, and published materials to support continuous improvement across the team's activities,
desktop research on technical methods and market trends to inform solution design and team knowledge.
Communicate findings through clear visualisations, reports, and presentations ensuring analytical outputs are aligned with business needs and deliver actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions.
- Engage in continuous learning and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements
- Promote safety, equity, diversity, and inclusion across all operations
