We're looking for a Graduate Building Designer to join our small Warrnambool-based team at MPAA Studio - a studio where thoughtful design meets a relaxed coastal lifestyle.

We're a close-knit team of two designers and three town planners, working together on bespoke homes and commercial projects that make a real difference in how people live and work. Our projects stretch across south-west Victoria and beyond - each one crafted with care, technical excellence, and purpose.

This is your chance to learn directly from experienced designers, gain exposure to every stage of the design process, and develop the technical and creative skills that set you up for a long, rewarding career. You'll be supported, mentored, and part of a team that genuinely cares about what we do - and how we do it.

What you'll find here

  • A 4-day work week (on full pay) following an initial 6-month period of working 5 days per week, to ensure you're well supported as you settle into the role

What we're looking for

  • A recent graduate (or soon-to-graduate) of Building Design, Architecture, or a related discipline
  • Proficiency or emerging skills in ArchiCAD (training and mentoring provided)
  • A genuine interest in construction and how buildings come together
  • Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit
  • Must be based in Warrnambool, working closely with the team on-site
