About the role

This role is a permanent full-time position located at our West Perth head office. In this role you will take responsibility for the preventative maintenance of existing systems, carry out audits, manage any breakdowns and repairs while enforcing best practice procedures for change management, software upgrade and implementation of any new product features.

Along with this you'll also mentor and help guide service desk staff, lead tech sessions and share your knowledge in a group setting. You'll also have the mindset of continuous improvement and identify opportunities for automation.

About you

You'll have strong experience in an IT Systems Administration role and have the ability to communicate with and support all employees within MercyCare.

In addition, you will also possess:

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent discipline or relevant experience
• Ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work efficiently
• Strong awareness of latest cyber security trends and adopt industry best practices in infrastructure
• Configuration, maintenance and management of SIEM systems and other Security applications and policies.
• Demonstrated experience in the management of Windows Server 2016+ including but not limited to Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, domain administration and maintenance.
• Drivers Licence
• National Police Clearance (obtained within the last six months)
