Nioka Steakhouse, Newcastle's premium steakhouse, is located right on the Honeysuckle boardwalk and showcases beef sourced directly from our Nioka Farm at the foothills of the Barrington Tops.

With a true farm-to-table philosophy, our mission is to deliver the highest quality beef alongside an exceptional dining experience.

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead and inspire our front-of-house team. This hands-on role will see you managing front of house daily operations, overseeing staff on shift, liaising with restaurant owners, and ensuring every guest enjoys a premium dining experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and support front-of-house staff during service
  • Liaise closely with the owners to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Deliver and maintain the highest standards of customer service
  • Manage floor operations including reservations, table allocations, and guest experience
  • Assist in training, mentoring, and developing team members
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or senior front-of-house role (fine dining preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge and passion for premium food and wine
  • Impeccable presentation and professional manner
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, high-end environment
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and public holidays

Must haves:

  • Relevant industry experience (fine dining preferred)
  • Extensive wine knowledge
  • Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) accreditation
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Availability for an immediate start
