When you join Edge, you'll work alongside smart, kind humans who care deeply about creating a better future for our clients, communities, and the world.
The roleAs an ESG Analyst, you'll play a key role in projects that help organisations respect human rights, eliminate modern slavery, and build responsible, resilient supply chains. This is a hands-on role where you'll apply your research, analytical, and problem-solving skills to client work, while learning from leading practitioners in human rights and ESG.
This is a fantastic opportunity to apply your skills in data, analysis, and problem-solving while growing your capability in one of the most significant areas of corporate sustainability. You'll work closely with Edge's technical experts and client teams, helping translate complex science into insights that drive action.
What you'll focus on- Research & Analysis – Gather and interpret data on supply chains, ESG risks, and human rights standards.
- Modern Slavery & Human Rights Projects – Support risk assessments, due diligence, and reporting aligned to the Australian Modern Slavery Act, UN Guiding Principles on Business & Human Rights, and OECD Due Diligence Guidance.
- Reporting & Disclosures – Help prepare ESG reports and modern slavery statements, ensuring insights are clear, accurate, and actionable.
- Workshops & Engagement – Assist in the design and delivery of client workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement processes.
- Project Support – Coordinate tasks, manage research streams, and help deliver high-quality client outputs.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with an ability to turn complex data into clear insights.
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in sustainability, human rights, law, business, environmental science, international development, or a related field.
- Knowledge (or strong interest in developing expertise) in ESG frameworks and human rights standards (GRI, ISSB, TCFD, UNGPs, OECD).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and briefing notes.
A collaborative mindset — you thrive in team settings and enjoy problem-solving with others. - Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive attitude — ready to grow your skills in a fast-moving field.
- Purpose-Driven Work – Be part of the change you want to see in the world.
- Flexible Work Culture – Work when and where you thrive.
