We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Performance and Digital Media to lead a growing digital and performance media team within a highly awarded full service agency.
This role is all about delivering attention-grabbing digital campaigns, working seamlessly with creative teams, and transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategy and tangible business results.
As a senior leader, you'll be client-facing—offering thought leadership on the evolving landscape of automation, AI, and media innovation. You'll also lead a team of digital and performance specialists who collaborate closely with the broader media and creative teams.
This is a pivotal opportunity to shape future-ready solutions that connect performance, creativity, and technology—including the setup and optimisation of advanced data dashboards for planning, measurement, and reporting excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Lead, inspire, and mentor a talented digital and performance media team across all digital channels.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Outcome-Driven Optimisation
- Maintain a strong focus on measurable outcomes, translating complex data into clear, actionable optimisations.
- Implement robust measurement frameworks to track and report on KPIs.
Integrated Campaign Collaboration
- Partner with creative and strategic teams to build integrated, insight-led campaigns.
- Ensure seamless execution across all consumer touchpoints.
Strategic Client Insights
- Provide clear, data-driven insights to inform client strategy.
- Translate complex analytical findings into compelling client narratives.
Trusted Client Advisor
- Act as a partner to clients, presenting innovative strategies, performance results, and AI-driven opportunities.
- Build long-lasting relationships based on trust and demonstrable value.
Futureproofing & Innovation
- Stay ahead of automation, martech, and digital innovation trends.
- Identify and implement new technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, or related field.
- Proven success in driving measurable outcomes across diverse industries and client portfolios.
- Track record of building, scaling, and optimising high-performing digital campaigns (Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic).
- Strong leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Hands-on experience with major ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, DV360, The Trade Desk) and analytics tools (GA4, GTM).
- Expertise in dashboards, measurement frameworks, and data consolidation.
- Experience in a fast-paced agency environment or managing complex in-house operations.
- Proficiency in using AI/ML tools for segmentation, creative optimisation, bidding, and forecasting.
