The Opportunity

Maveri is leading a search for a
Senior Account Executive
on behalf of our client, a rapidly scaling, VC-backed B2B SaaS company that is the category leader in its niche. With strong product-market fit, a robust pipeline, and a track record of doubling its customer base year-over-year, the company is transitioning from a successful founder-led sales model to a world-class sales organization.

This is not just another enterprise sales role. As the foundational sales hire, you will be a strategic partner to the Founder, responsible for closing complex, six-figure deals while co-designing the playbook that will define the company's commercial future. This is a rare opportunity to own, shape, and lead the sales engine of a category-defining company with a clear pathway to a Head of Sales role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive New Revenue
    : Own the end-to-end sales cycle to deliver new ARR by closing complex, six-figure enterprise deals.
  • Lead Strategic Engagements
    : Command the room with C-level executives (CFOs, CIOs), leading consultative workshops that identify critical pain points and build undeniable business cases.
  • Shape Go-to-Market Strategy
    : Act as a key voice in GTM strategy, partnering with marketing and product to inform new product launches and international expansion.
  • Build a Dominant Pipeline
    : Generate new opportunities through strategic prospecting and relationship-building, supported by inbound leads and junior sales resources.
  • Be the Face of the Company
    : Represent the company at industry conferences and events, building credibility and deep relationships with senior decision-makers.

Qualifications

  • A proven track record of owning and closing six-figure enterprise SaaS deals, ideally with government or other highly regulated customers.
  • A strategic seller who brings their own playbook for navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Exceptional executive presence, with confidence leading strategic workshops for C-level stakeholders.
  • An execution-focused mindset; you are accountable, own your number, and are obsessed with delivering results.
  • Impeccable process discipline and a reputation for keeping deals tight and transparent.
