Senior Account Executive – APAC Commercial Sales

A growing global technology company is looking for an experienced sales professional to join its Asia-Pacific team. This role is focused on winning new customers across Australia and New Zealand while managing a small group of existing accounts.

You'll be part of a collaborative regional team working to expand market presence and build long-term client relationships. This position involves managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals, while contributing to the company's overall growth strategy in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the complete sales process, from identifying prospects to finalising contracts.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline through outreach, networking, and marketing collaboration.
  • Create and execute a territory plan that highlights high-potential industries and accounts.
  • Consult with clients to understand their business challenges and propose tailored technology solutions.
  • Work closely with internal teams across sales development, customer success, and product to ensure smooth delivery and strong client outcomes.
  • Manage renewals and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data within CRM systems.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Experience and Skills

  • 5 or more years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in commercial or mid-market environments.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and consistently meeting sales goals.
  • Familiarity with selling into the Asia-Pacific region, preferably with experience in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Strong consultative and value-based selling approach, able to link technical solutions to business results.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Experience managing full sales cycles independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools and modern sales technologies.
