Warehouse 2iC

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operator to step up and take the lead as a 2iC at our Glendenning Team.

This is a full-time position Mon-Fri, working a minimum of 38 hours per week, plus overtime as required.

The Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager and Regional Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse 2iC will focus on:

• Daily operations of the warehouse – Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency with customer satisfaction being the primary goal, by organising and directing the warehouse team, ensuring a clean and safe work environment, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements in the day-to-day operation in the key areas of Safety and the Award
• Assisting with coaching the warehouse team to ensure quality customer service is always provided which fosters growth and repeat business
• Provide leadership and guidance training and development, daily toolbox talks, and upholding compliance with Company policies and procedures
• Promote teamwork between the sales team and other site staff to ensure all are working to a common goal of exceeding customer expectations
• Execute business directives that support the business strategy
• Represent the Company Directors as a leader of the organisation

In summary, the Warehouse 2iC supports daily warehouse operations, leads and develops the team, ensures safety and compliance, promotes customer service excellence, and drives collaboration to achieve business goals.

The Applicant

The Ideal Candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated strong warehouse experience
• Demonstrated people and leadership skills
• Knowledge of operations in similar environment
• Medium level knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sage and general ERP systems
• Stock and Inventory Control experience
• Current Forklift License (Required)
• MR or above truck license (Bonus)
• Current Driver's License
