Forklift Operator– Distribution Centre About the Role

Protech are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operatorsto join our busy Distribution Centre team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to safety, teamwork, and efficient operations.

Location: Hermit Park, QLD

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hours: Up to 10 hours per day

Industry: Manufacturing / Agribusiness / Logistics

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and move goods within the distribution centre.
  • Support daily warehouse operations including stock movement, pallet stacking, and order preparation.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams to meet dispatch and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, contributing to overall site safety.
  • Follow all safety procedures and participate in pre-start checks and toolbox talks.
  • Loading and unloading Trucks

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 12 months forklift experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, agribusiness, or similar environment.
  • Valid High Risk Forklift Licence.
  • Strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
  • Ability to work up to 10 hours per day as required.
  • Reliable, punctual, and physically fit for manual handling tasks.
  • Strong Visual awareness and Safety Culture.
  • Able to pass Instant Drug Screening.
