Forklift Operator Townsville

About the Role

AWX are seeking experienced Forklift Operators for multiple opportunities with clients across Townsville in warehousing, manufacturing, transport, logistics, and stockfeed operations. Most roles require an immediate start, and we're looking for people with a positive CAN DO attitude, who are reliable, self-motivated, and ready to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Key Duties

  • Operating forklifts to load and unload trucks and shipping containers
  • Moving stock and feeding production lines
  • Handling materials including stockfeed, steel plates, and other products
  • Supporting manufacturing and processing tasks (cutting, pressing, rolling, bagging, stacking, palletising)
  • Conducting quality checks and following WHS procedures

Requirements

  • Current Forklift Licence with minimum 12 months' experience
  • Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical, physical, and Drug & Alcohol test
  • Comfortable working in hot and heavy industrial environments
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
  • Previous warehouse, stockfeed, or manufacturing experience (advantageous)
  • Must be a resident of Townsville
