About our Client

Our client has a world class metalliferous processing site positioned on the outskirts of Townsville and are seeking an experienced labourer with a forklift ticket for their various departments.

What You Will Be Doing

As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an integral role in implementing the client's production requirements. You will be required to work 2 days/2 nights on and 4 days off working 12 hour shifts.

Day Shift - 5:45am-6:00pm

Night shift - 5:45pm-6am

Your main responsibilities and duties will include;

  • Safely and effectively operating fixed plant (valves, pulleys, conveyors) and mobile equipment (gantry & forklift)
  • Pre-start checks of various equipment
  • Following strict company policies and procedures
  • Working in a team-focused environment to meet production goals.

What you will need

  • Forklift licence (required)
  • Gantry Crane ticket ( highly desirable)
  • Physical fortitude to withstand high temperatures and long hours
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical and random on-site drug testing
  • Need to be clean shaven for the role
