An opportunity currently exists for a Warehouse Operator based at our Townsville Warehouse DC on a permanent basis. The purpose of this position to pick & pack out going stock, Receive & book in incoming stock and load and unload transport.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Load and unload all transport.
  • Follow warehouse procedures for storage and handling of goods.
  • Record all incoming stock details and all damaged incoming goods from orders.
  • Perform forklift start up procedure inspections.
  • Detect any operational problems and minimise equipment breakdowns.
  • Identify and isolate all failed products or products on hold.
  • Maintain hygiene / GMP to acceptable level for area of responsibility.
  • To make sure that delivered products are in good condition, are the correct size and that the quantity is correct.
  • Ensure that delivery vehicles are kept in good order, kept clean both inside and out, and that the daily vehicle check is filled out & signed.

The successful applicant will possess:

  • Current Forklift Licence essential
  • MR or HR Licence desirable
  • Working in a similar environment highly desired
  • Skills in MS Office and experience in D365 or other related ERP systems would be an advantage.
