About the role

Aromas Fine Foods is seeking an experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Launceston, Tasmania. As a full-time position, this role will be responsible for leading and motivating our front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth running of our busy restaurant.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the daily operations of the front-of-house team, including scheduling, training and performance management
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
  • Effectively communicate with the kitchen team to coordinate service and efficiently manage table turnover
  • Handle customer inquiries, reservations and complaints in a professional and tactful manner
  • Assist with cash handling, end-of-day reconciliations and other administrative duties as required
  • Lead by example and foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a front-of-house supervisory role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide an exceptional dining experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Proficient in cash handling, inventory management and other administrative tasks
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
