About the Role

Are you an experienced Events Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and loves bringing learning experiences to life? Connective is looking for an organised, collaborative and highly motivated events professional to help plan, deliver and execute our integrated National Learning and Development (L&D) program.

In this role, you'll support all areas of the business including our Sales, Connective Lending and Commercial & Asset Finance teams by creating seamless digital and face-to-face learning experiences for our members and partners. Working closely with our Event Manager, you'll help shape impactful learning initiatives across multiple platforms, ensuring every program is delivered on time, on brand and on budget.

This role may require occasional after-hours work and interstate travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, market and deliver national digital and in-person Learning & Development programs.
  • Manage event budgets, financial reconciliation and administrative requirements.
  • Coordinate event communications, including EDMs, registration sites and web content.
  • Develop presentation materials in collaboration with content leads.
  • Maintain strong partner relationships and ensure all sponsorship entitlements are delivered.
  • Prepare accurate, timely sponsorship and event reporting.
  • Build effective working relationships across internal teams (Sales, IT, Compliance, Marketing, Product, Communications).
  • Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless program execution and strong commercial outcomes.

About You

  • Qualification in Events or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' relevant events experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of event management principles.
  • Experience managing corporate stakeholders or clients.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.
  • CRM experience (Dynamics preferred).
  • Confidence working with qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Current Australian driver's licence is desirable but not required.
