Position: Full-Time Support Worker

Pay: AU$32.00 – AU$38.00 per hour (including loading)

About the Role

Himalayanvilla is seeking committed, caring, and professional Female Support Workers to join our Supported Living Team in Haberfield and Sydney city locations (NSW). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive and inclusive team culture.

We have a variety of shifts available across a 24/7 rotating roster, including mornings, afternoons, active nights, weekends, and public holidays.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting customers to build and maintain independence while providing care where needed
  • Assisting with daily living tasks:
  • Personal care (showering, oral hygiene, shaving)
  • Medication administration
  • Transport to appointments
  • Engaging in activities at home and in the community
  • Household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
  • Engaging with customers positively to support their wellbeing
  • Following care plans and completing accurate shift notes and incident reports

Essential Criteria

  • Experience supporting customers with dementia, challenging behaviours, epilepsy, mental health needs, and/or complex medical conditions
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) with the ability to build positive relationships
  • Accurate reporting and record-keeping skills
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating roster (24/7 availability preferred)
  • Must be female staff – Italian and Greek background preferred
  • Current NSW Police Check
  • NSW Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Check
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence

Employment Types

  • Full-Time, Part-Time, Casual, or Subcontract opportunities available
  • Minimum part-time hours: 40 per week
